A Kentucky Court of Appeals judge denied the NCAA emergency relief on Friday, allowing a group of players including Texas Tech quarterback Thomas Castellanos to remain eligible.

QBs Thomas Castellanos and Will Hammond will both play significant snaps as No. 13 Texas Tech hosts No. 22 Arizona in a key Big 12 matchup, sources told ESPN.

Jets nose tackle T'Vondre Sweat has been ruled out with a knee injury, and rookie edge rusher David Bailey, unable to practice this week due to a strained groin, is listed as doubtful.

Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark is leaving the conference, a decision he made as he prepares to take another job outside of college sports.
