Bill Giles, the longtime Phillies owner and executive who helped bring Pete Rose to Philadelphia and helped create the Phillie Phanatic mascot, has died at age 92.

Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero, who earlier this week said he stood by his remarks that he received a $500 million extension for what he did in the past, said he owed an apology for comments that were "not what I really wanted to say."
