Brighton Marina wants to restart dredging next year but still needs a site to dispose of the silt.

Efforts are being made to reintroduce the locally-extinct species back to the River Wey in Surrey.

The Forestry England and the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation reintroduction project began in 2019.
