The prime minister says "defensive air-to-air refuelling" is to be provided following a request from Saudi Arabia, after it faced attacks from the Houthis in Yemen.

The Lib Dem leader also backed the controversial Jackdaw gas field, which the government is expected to approve.

Farage said it had been untenable for former leader Dan Thomas to continue after his arrest last week.

The party says scrapping the scheme in 2021 left the UK less competitive than European destinations.
