Taylor Brown, the No. 30 player and No. 5 point guard in the SC Next 100 class of 2027, on Saturday committed to coach Dawn Staley and South Carolina.

Panthers center Aleksander Barkov has been placed on long-term injured reserve, meaning the injury to his left leg will keep him sidelined for at least the next 10 games.

Retaining unrestricted free agent Kelsey Mitchell is a top offseason priority for the Indiana Fever, both GM Amber Cox and coach Stephanie White acknowledged Saturday morning.

Florida will be without leading receiver Vernell Brown III when it plays at No. 25 Missouri, but receiver Bailey Stockton will be available for the No. 8 Gators.
